Laura and I arrived safely in Beijing after a plane service delay in Seattle. We had to get on another plane and had a great flight!!! Christina stayed at the airport until we arrived at 3:00. She is staying with us. She had to work today but will meet us at the Great Wall and the square today. Please remember our "talks" with Christina. They are going well. She loved all her gifts from SBC family. I love you all. Will post pictures tonight of our day.

Leaving the US

In Memphis

Just blogging to let you all know the "kneed" was met. I have a seat to Seattle, be it ever so comfy, a back seat. Laura and I will be seated together over the ocean! A real God send off. Our stewardess on our Memphis flight said "oh you're Chinese and going to china. My daughter is Chinese. " we replied that we were headed to Kunming, China to work with orphans. Debbie, the flight attendant says, "oh my.... My daughter is from there!" further discussions and pictures later reveal that her daughter was adopted the same EXACT same

time Laura's sister was. We've put the two moms in contact with each other already! Gods world is incredible!!!!

Departure!!!

Laura and I will board and leave shortly for Memphis. I do not have a seat but we know WHO will make one available from there to Seattle then Beijing!

Well it's finally the day to travel. I have a prayer "kneed"...as I logged into Delta today to confirm my flight and print my boarding passes, I found that I was missing a pass. To settle my mind I called Delta tonight and I am not confirmed on the flight from Memphis to Seattle..so....please pray that God will affirm what He's already confirmed!!!! Remembering His Word gives me assurance, "without faith it is impossible to please God!" So, Seminary family, my family body of believers....will you pray this through with me? Thank you and love to all.
